  • First, let your insurance provider or Third-Party Administrator (TPA) know that you will be hospitalized due to an emergency. At least 48 hours prior to a scheduled hospital stay and within 24 hours of an emergency hospital stay, you must notify your insurer or TPA 
  • Just go to the hospital for treatment and concentrate on getting well 
  • Pay the whole hospital bill after you are released from the hospital 
  • When you are being released from the hospital, gather all the paperwork associated with your stay, such as the hospital bill and discharge statement 
  • To receive payment, obtain the health insurance claim form and complete it completely. The claim form is readily available on your insurer's website
